Fun Facts – Victoria Hall

- Thanks to ABBA winning with the song "Waterloo" in Brighton on April 6, 1974, Sweden and Stockholmsmässan were able to host the Eurovision Song Contest the following year, on March 22, 1975, here in Victoria Hall.

- Victoria Hall was inaugurated in 1992 and is named after Crown Princess Victoria.

- In 1996, the Melodifestivalen took place in Victoria Hall – the group One More Time won with the song "Den vilda."

- Charlotte Nilsson (now Perelli) won the Melodifestivalen in 1999 with the song "Tusen och en natt," which she then won the entire Eurovision Song Contest with (but then performed in English)

- Many famous speakers have been on stage here. John Cleese and Richard Branson are some of them

- Every year, UF STARTUP and the Swedish Championships in Young Enterprise are held in Victoria Hall for high school seniors

- Victoria Hall is a flexible venue with its unique grandstand that can be folded up and down

- The lighting inside the hall is energy-efficient and capable of producing all kinds of color combinations (as of 2023)

- Victoria Hall has hosted many concerts, parties, and gala dinners with an international flavor and can accommodate up to 2000 seats
